Tell me a little bit about yourself.

Keep it relevant, with maybe one interesting personal tidbit - aim for 3 things. If something is already stated in your resume, that's fine. Acknowledge it and expand on it, but do not restate your entire resume or life story.

What are your strengths?

Be genuine! Again aim for 2-3 things, and on at least one, explain how you know this (i.e., show evidence!).

What are your weaknesses?

Be genuine, although don't shoot yourself in the foot. My recommendation is to share something that actually is a weakness, but the key is to show how you work on it. No one is perfect. Being willing to admit a flaw and actually care to fix it is a good thing. For example, "I am not very outgoing, which can make it hard to get to know my colleagues, but I try to work on that by finding little moments to introduce myself individually." Avoid the "humble brag" weaknesses of "I am a perfectionist" or "I care about my work too much."

Why do you want to work here?

Really, why? It is okay if it is not your dream job. For example, you can say that it makes sense because of school, BUT you need to have something good to say about the job (i.e. you like hands-on work, or you enjoy working with people).

Tell me about your most recent job.

Why did you leave your last job? --- KEEP IT POSITIVE. Nothing will turn off an future supervisor faster than hearing you tear apart a previous workspace. No one wants to bring negative energy into their team.

Where do you see yourself in 5-10 years?

Give an idea of what your goals are for the next 5-10 years. Where do you hope to be? What do you hope to be accomplishing?

Why should we hire you?

Provide 2-3 skills or unique qualities you will bring to the position.

What is your biggest professional accomplishment?

Tell me about a challenge you faced professionally and how you dealt with it? (Or, describe a time you disagreed with a colleague?) --- Briefly give a situation, provide 1-3 steps taken by you or you and someone to resolve it, and provide the outcome. Focus on solutions rather than blame.
